Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport, Rhode Island intends to issue a fixed price Purchase Order to North Atlantic Industries (NAI) on a sole source basis to obtain twenty (20) each Four Channel Synchro to Digital tracking Converters 60/400 Hz, North Atlantic Industries (NAI) P/N 73SD1-4CS20-03I, for the Cluster Nova program. Delivery is FOB destination Newport, RI no later than 2003 SEP 30. These converters are sole sourced to NAI because they will be used as replacements for NAI converters in existing synchro interface boxes. 100 percent electrical, mechanical, and software compatibility between existing navigation interface boxes must be ensured and NAI, the sole designer distributor, is the only supplier who can satisfy this requirement.
