Description

Subject to final approval, the Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis through Entrust Inc, One Hanover Park, 16633 Dallas Parkway, Suite 800, Dallas TX 75001, (1) Entrust Authority Security Manager Proxy 6.0 WIN, Qty 2 ea. (2) Entrust Security Provider ID Add on For Full ID ? Up to Five Applications, Qty 1000 ea. (3) Platinum Level Support/Maintenance. The Bureau of the Public Debt owns and operates a Certificate Authority (CA) for the purposes of cryptographic key management. The Bureau of the Public Debt?s CA is built with Entrust software. This cryptographic hardware works specifically with the Bureau of the Public Debt?s Certificate Authority software provided by Entrust Inc. This software is propitiatory to Entrust Inc. No solicitation document is available. Public Debt will consider all affirmative responses received no later than 2:00 p.m., EST. on August 20, 2003. Affirmative responses shall be accompanied by sufficient documentation to clearly show the ability to provide the product, or functional equivalent, at terms more advantageous to the Government. Requests for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered affirmative responses. If no affirmative response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements, and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole-source award to Entrust Inc. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions.
