- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ), F38601-03-Q-S182. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337214. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. Submissions must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification – Commercial Items, name, address, cage code, DUNS number, and telephone number with its offer. In addition, the following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award. Award will be made to the quotation which offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of price and delivery time. This procurement is for HAWORTH modular furniture and includes the teardown of old and installation new furniture. All identified part numbers are HAWORTH. Items quoted must be manufactured by HAWORTH to be compatible with existing furniture. In addition, storage of furniture is required. The required completion date for the removal and installation is 1 Oct 03. Labor will include the teardown and replacement of approximately 9 stations, 12 offices and 1 conference room. The contractor will also be required to take all products to a contractor provided off-site storage facility. The contractor will arrange for up to 4 months of storage time.
