- QTY: 65 EACH NSN: 5895-01-451-6823SO P/N: 882630-1 The purpose of this task is to purchase 65 signal data converter (SDC) low voltage power supply (LVPS). Due to parts obsolescence the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) was tasked under an engineering change proposal effort to provide a form, fit and function redesigned SDC LVPS power supply to populate the entire inventory of Signal Data Converters. The OEM successfully researched data, designed, developed and tested a form, fit and function SDC LVPS replacement. The new component has the same function and operational characteristic as the original equipment, however has an improved mean time between failure (MTBF). This redesigned SDC LVPS was developed to sustain the AN/APQ-170 radar SDC throughout its life expectancy. Therefore, this solictitation will be issued Sole Source to Systems Electronic Inc. (98255).
