Description

NA This procurement is for the solicitation of a firm fixed price contract for renovation of Building 1002, VIRGINIA. The project is to provide design and construction services to renovate building 1002, Fort Eustis, VA. This building is a three story mason ry block structure commonly referred to as a hammerhead barracks. The renovation will include architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Duration of action will be 18 months. THIS IS A COMPETITIVE 8(A) PROCUREMENT FOR CONTRACTORS LOCATED IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA WITH DESIGN/BUILD EXPERIENCE AS THE PRIME CONTRACTOR ON DOD BARRACKS, DORMITORY, ADMINISTRATIVE OR OPERATIONS FACILITY RENOVATION WITH A CONTRACT VALUE OF $2,000,000 IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS. NAICS CODE 236115 applies to this procurement. Solicitation will be available on/about August 21, 2003 via http://www.nao.usace.army.mil/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. Proposals will be due in the N orfolk due September 23, 2003 at 11:00 am. No hard copies will be available. Prospective contractors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Information on registration and annual confir mation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr200.com.
