Description

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with David E. Bell, Inc., 7814 Foxcove Court, Glen Burnie, Maryland, to support the publication of data tables for the third series of data compendia-the 2003 Nursing Home Data Compendium, as well as the publication of a Home Health Data Compendium. As part of the oversight of the care given to our nation's nursing home residents, CMS monitors on a regular basis Minimum Data Set Data, which are reported by Medicare and Medicaid certified nursing homes, OASIS data reported by home health agencies, and administrative data from the survey and certification program. We believe the compendia will serve as valuable resources for policy makers concerned with issues of aging and long-term care. Solicitation CMS-03-002EW will be available in hard copy. The Government will not pay for any cost for contractor's quote submitted in response to this solicitation. The Government will consider interest expressed within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. Written requests should be submitted to Evelyn A.
