- DESC: PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Project ZHTV 02-1865. Period of Performance is 270 days. NAICS CODE: 238990. Size Standard $12.0M. Secure Water Supply System, WPAFB, OH. Estimated Cost of Proposed Acquisition is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-704 ?Required Central Contractor Registration,? Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr2000.com/index.cfm, or 1-888- CCR-2423 Fax: 1-703-696-0213. Scope of Work: The work consists of securing water reservoirs, water pumps, by providing chain link fence around the facilities. Also securing gates to these enclosed facilities with swipe card access, providing cipher locks to the facilities, and replacing windows with glass block. This work shall be accomplished on all nineteen (19) base water facilities. NOTES: 1. The IFB solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 12 Aug 03, at http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. There are approximately 31 pages of the solicitation, 131 pages of specifications and 15 sheets of drawings. 5. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractors Business Assistance Program, and F.W. Dodge Division. 6. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 7. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the bid closing date specified in the solicitation. There will be a public bid opening. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. 03R0065 is a WPAFB Construction Contracting (PKE) program. The current status is Pre-Solicitation and it is a Category Z - Maintenance, repair, and alteration of real property program. Additionally, this program (previously listed as an RFP) will now be acquired as an IFB under number F33601-03-B-0006. (However, the PIXS/FedBizOps listing itself will not change.)
