Description
NA The Army FCMP (Forms Content Management Program) is asking industry to provide information to support a solution that will become the platform upon which to revolutionize the current forms management to content management and to create a development plan f or a common enterprise-wide infrastructure. The selected infrastructure must adhere to government and industry standards to ensure all developed solutions are interoperable. The Infrastructure must provide all Army personnel with the ability to seamlessly access all applicable processes currently managed by forms through an online portal, with or without internet access to manage the lifecycle of information. Also, create an d assist existing program offices with modernization of local solutions per unique requirement using standard hardware and software infrastructure to automate these manual forms-based processes while reducing redundant technical solutions. Vendors are encouraged to submit, along with their descriptive literature concerning their products, current government pricing for said products. The Army is sensitive on total cost of ownership of the host service; availability; speed and degree of distr ibution of services and support for the solution; security features of the solution; global scalability; vendor direction and long-term viability. While the Army requires a solution with the smallest desktop footprint possible, the information provided sho uld support an Army enterprise that is global in scope and addressing the needs of all personnel supporting the Army mission. This RFI will be used to gather information about the commercially available solutions able to satisfy the mission objectives of the FCMP. This RFI is designed to identify vendors who have successfully implemented their products in a solution similar to the FCMP in size and scope. The information sought hereunder is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Army does not intend to award a contract as a result of RFI responses. Responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI requests corporate marketing information about commercial off-the-shelf p roducts and demonstrated corporate capability. The Army intends to analyze the information it receives to plan and implement its FCMP mission objectives. Information reguarding submission is contained in the Draft requirement at the DCC-W web page.
