- In support of a Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA) research and development effort, DARPA has a requirement for study on a particular space situational awareness concept. DARPA intends to enter into a sole source contract with Photon Research Associates, Inc., San Diego, CA, to perform this effort. The effort is a continuation of research and development currently being performed by Photon Research, and it is likely that award to any other source would result in a substantial duplication of cost that is not expected to be recovered through competition and would also result in unacceptable schedule delays. The research is deemed to be available only from the original source. This Notice is intended for informational purposes only; it is not a Request for Proposals. However, interested parties should contact Photon Research for subcontracting opportunities.
