Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology, 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD, has a requirement for on-site services to refine, modify, enhance, and document simulation models and data interface software developed for the National Shipbuilding Research Program into generic simulation models using ProModel Software. Contractors should demonstrate knowledge, experience, and education in the following: shipbuilding and manufacturing industry, engineering, ProModel simulation software, high level architecture, unified modeling language, extensible mark-up language, C, C++, and Java computer language. The requirement is a set aside for small businesses only. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541511; small business size standard is $21.0 million. The period of performance will be four months. The solicitation number SB1341-03-Q-0783 is issued using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is available via the Internet, http://www.fedbizzops.gov.
