- NA The Security Assistance Management Directorate, on behalf of the Communications-Electronic Command, is seeking a reliable source to provide Firefinder Radar Systems, Associated Equipment, Spares, and Services to Foreign Military Sales Customers. The requi rements include: (1) The production and delivery of FIREFINDER AN/TPQ-36(V)9 and AN/TPQ-37(V)3 export-version Radar Systems. (2) The configuration upgrade of AN/TPQ-37(V)4 radars to the AN/TPQ-37(V)3 configuration. (3) The production and delivery of AN/TPQ-36(V)9 Antenna Transceiver Group. (4) The procurement of Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) to include but not limited to: a) MJQ-38 Generator Group; b) MEP-816B; c) PU-806 Power Unit; d) OY-9018 Generator Power Distribution; and e) M-1048 Flatbed Trailer. (5) The TACFIRE Version Upgrade to Production Radars. (6) The procurement and delivery of Support and Tooling Equipment (7) The procurement and delivery Essential Spare Parts, Concurrent Spare Parts, and consumables for all radar subsystems. (8) The procurement and delivery of Test Equipment needed for the radar systems. (9) Firefinder Radar Systems Technical Manuals and other technical publications for Operator, Organizational and Direct Support Level operation and maintenance. (10) Firefinder Radar Systems Training for Operator, Organizational and Direct Support operations and maintenance. (11) Maintenance Support Services (12) Field Service Engineers OCONUS for up to two years in Customer??????s country. CECOM does not have any funding for any R&D. Suppliers must be capable of furnishing all of the requirements above to include Firefinder Radars, associated upgrades, CFE, spares, repair parts and special tools, training, publications, and support with an initial delivery to begin in twelve months after date of award. All applicants capable of this complete delivery must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-SA-IEW (Danielle Kays); Building 1208: Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, test results, or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the army with an unit that will b e physically and functionally interchangeable or better with the unit from the previous Firefinder. Successful source may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the army.
