Description

<DESC> SPAWARSYSCEN, Charleston intends to issue a solicitation for engineering development, design, procurement, fabrication and configuration, installation, integration, logistics, maintenance, and other life cycle support services for Security, Automation and Law Enforcement Systems. Functional components of the required systems may include management systems (software applications, computers, displays); ground sensors and surveillance; information transfer systems; information management systems; electro-mechanical security devices and subsystems; provisions for Information Assurance; command, control, communications and intelligence subsystems and peripheral hardware. Services are required for a period of one year with four one-year options to extend the term of the contract. The Government anticipates the award of a combination indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee and Firm Fixed-Price type contract, with task orders. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The applicable NAICS code is 541330, with a size standard of $23 million in annual receipts. Performance will be at various government sites world-wide. The RFP will be transmitted via the Internet on the world wide web (www). The RFP/Solicitaton will only be available by www access through the SPAWAR public access on line Contracts Information System. The uniform resources locator (url) addess is http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil. This solicitation is the result of Market Survey MKTSVY 2163A dated 12/04/02. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for updates/amendments to any and all documents. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone inquiries for the RFP will be honored. It is the responsibility of the recipient of the solicitation to ensure that it and subsequent amendments have been received from the Internet in their entirety. SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston bears no responsibility for data errors resulting from transmission or the conversion process. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available by 30 August 2003 on the SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston RFP web page addres listed below.
