Description

This notice is for informational purposes only. This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source purchase with Strategic Options Consulting, Inc. for Consultative Services with expertise in acute occupational pesticide poisoning surveillance to provide ongoing consultative services via phone and e-mail to NIOSH and its state partners participating in the SENSOR-pesticides program. The contractor will provide on average 12 hours of consultation per month. The Contractor will also attend day-long SENSOR-pesticides workshops twice yearly. One of the workshops will be held during the annual CSTE meeting, and the Contractor is expected to attend the entire CSTE meeting. The Contractor will make 2-3 site visits to state SENSOR-pesticides programs for the purpose of guiding these states to improve their surveillance activities. Each site visit will last 1-2 days. The Contractor will conduct two case coding exercises to review data quality and coding consistency. The Contactor will provide a written summary of the exercise findings, discuss with relevant parties, and make recommendations. No solicitation document exists, however, all responses from vendors demonstrating their capabilities will be fully considered. This is a Simplifed Acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00.
