- Description
- The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO announces the solicitation of the Military Family Housing Maintenance Services at Peterson AFB, CO. The government contemplates soliciting for the award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract Line Items (CLINs). The anticipated award will be made to Small Business Administration (SBA) Certified 8a firms. This acquisition is restricted to 8a firms located within the SBA Colorado District ONLY. Both Service Contract Act (SCA) and Davis-Bacon wages will apply. Typical delivery orders (DO) will consist of a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor alterations work on real property at the location listed above. This opportunity can be expected to encompass a variety of trades including, but not limited to: minor roof repair, electrical, plumbing, minor carpentry, purchase of appliances, purchase of supplies and materials for repair, and painting. The performance period of this contract shall consist of one base year, and six individual option years, for a total of seven years. The NAICS for this acquisition is 235990, with a size standard of $11.5M. The contract ceiling amount for the contract is estimated between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 over seven years. There is no guarantee that the option years will be exercised. The government anticipates the issuance of a Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) on 21 May 03 and the release of the final RFP on or about 26 Jun 03. The anticipated award date is 1 Oct 03 subject to the availability of funds. Contract award will be based on past-performance-price trade-off procedures. Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receiving procurement announcements related to this solicitation by entering the website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Contract teaming is encouraged as prescribed under the SBA rules for Joint Ventures, Prime Contractor/Sub Contractor arrangements and the SBA or DOD Mentor-Protege Procedures. A soft copy of the firm's capability statement is requested. Offerors may be requested to provide a presentation on past performance and explain how demands on previous contracts were met. The statement should describe any teaming arrangements and reflect relevant past performance history (3-5 years of multi-location/project management). Firms should describe government or commercial contract experience, i.e., cite government or commercial sources. The information requested should not exceed twenty-five total single-sided pages, typed in twelve-pitch font size. Offeror will be required to use the Automated Civil Engineering System-Housing Management (ACES-HM). Interested parties are requested to submit responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis by COB on 7 Feb 03 Mountain Time. There will be no paper copies of this solicitation.
