Description
The U.S. Army anticipates purchasing a Computer Numeric Controlled Turning Center which will include the following specifications: * Visual Quick Code Programming System for lathes, which includes both VQC and QC template files. * Word Processor type program editing with cut and paste functions at control. * Swing Capacity - 30" diameter * Distance between centers - 39" * 3 inch diameter bar capacity * High torque 2 speed transmission (minimum 850 ft-lb@250RPM) * 30 Horsepower spindle, 3400 RPM * Frame fabricated from cast iron casting * Hardened steel ways * Double anchored ballscrews * Accuracy, position +/- .0002, repeatability +/- .0001 * Rapid feed rate 710 IPM * Power requirements - 200-250 VAC, 3-Phase, 20kva * Door activaated high intensity lighting with door switches * C axis gear driven spindle with full interpolation and G77 (canned) flatting cycle. *Live tooling, high torque (minimum 7.5 HP0 with indexing spindle. * Tool presetter system * Chip auger system to remove chips * Control Memory of 16MB * Fully programmable hydraulic tailstock with 300-1500 lb thrust. * VDI took disk 12 station turret * External High-voltage transformer * Ethernet Interface for Novel 4.0, Windows Millennium 2000 Server/Workstation, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows 2000 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows NT Server, Windows 98 and Windows 95. * 3.5" floppy drive * RS232 connection port * LCD Color monitor * Steady Rest Provision * Multi-function remote jog handle * 10" power driven 3 jaw chuck * Parts catcher, Spindle Orientation, Rigid Tapping, * The vendor will include transportation, installation and rigging. * The Service with response is 24 hours.
