NA THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. THE ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF THE SOLICITATION IS 28 AUGUST 2003. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. Items to procure are: (1) Towbar, Mo tor , NSN 4910-01-365-9304, PN 7551383; (2) Chain, Clamp, NSN 4910-01-005-2823, PN 7551073; (3) Chain Roller, NSN 3020-01-015-6192, PN 7551070; (4) Clevis Rod, End, NSN 5340-01-022-4686, PN 7551067; (5) Clevis Rod, End, NSN 5340-01-023-9801, PN 7550983; ( 6) Tube Structural, NSN 4710-01-371-7292, PN 7551386; (7) Tube Structural, NSN 4710-01-371-7293, PN 7551385; (8) Tube Structural, NSN 4710-01-371-7294, PN 7551384; (9) Clamp, Towbar, NSN 4910-00-624-0552, PN 7551069; (10) Clamp, Assembly, NSN 5120-00-624-0 556, PN 7551068. Guaranteed minimum quantities will be stated in the solicitation. FOB is Destination. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing a n electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto . Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments w hich may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
