Description

NA Tube-Launched Optically-Tracked Wire-Guided (TOW) Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) Contractor Logistics (CLS) for Tranversing Units (TUs), Vehicle Mounted Chargers (VMCs) and Associated Parts. The US Army is contemplating a sole source procuremen t of the TOW ITAS TUs, VMCs and Associated Parts from Raytheon Systems Company (RSC), McKinney, TX. The requirement consists of the supply of 5 TOW ITAS TUs, 25 VMCs and associated parts. This procurement will contain or require access to both classified and unclassifed data, and data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export and Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C. Sec 2751 et seq) or the Export Administration Act (Title 50, U.S.C. App 2401-2402). Foreign industry may participate at the subcontractor level in relation to the TOW ITAS prime contractor, RSC. Subcontracting opportunities must be arranged between the prime and any potential subcontractors. Foreign industry and/or non-US citizens desiring a copy of the releasable portion of the solicitation mu st submit an official request through their respective embassy, Washington D.C. To HQDA, Attn: DAMI-POC. Foreign-owned, controlled, or influenced (FOCI) entities desiring a copy of the releasable portions of the TOW ITAS requirement for TUs, VMCs and Ass ociated Parts must submit and official request to the US Army Aviation and Missile Command, Attn: AMSAM-SI-SD, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898; however release is not guaranteed. Requests from foreign industry and/or FOCI entities recieved by any other means will not be honored. Release date for this requirement is 29 August 2003.
