- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md. (NSWCIH) intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Fike Corporation. The requirement consist of the procurement of a 20-liter Spherical Dust Explosive Apparatus, a critical element of research for the characterization and development of advanced explosives. The Dust Explosive Apparatus is a proprietary item manufactured and marketed solely by Fike Corporation. The applicable North American Industrial classification System (NIACS) code is 334519. The FSC code is 6665. The resulting purchase order will be a firm fixed price purchase order. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1). See Note 22. No solicitation notice will be posted.
