- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting for ten (10) each I-cable Assembly, Receptacle and Associated Components in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 7455665-1 (including Plug Module Assy 7455665-2, Plug Cover 7455665-5, and Lanyard Assy 7455665-7), and other associated drawings: NAVSEA Drawing 7009632, NAVSEA Drawing 5168610, NAVSEA Drawing 5168609, and Bureau of Naval Weapons Drawing 783586. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345 as access to the drawings is subject to the Arms Control Act (see note 8 for further information). This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with ITT Cannon, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Required delivery is later than 1 Apr 04. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Key port, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334417 and a size standard of 500. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 26 Aug 03. The closing date of the solicitation will be 25 Sep 03, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. This requirement will NOT be procured under FAR Part 12. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil and on the Keyport Acquisition homepage at http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the ev ent an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO or Keyport websites. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov ). Any questions should be submitted in writing via the fax number provided above or e-mailed to powersm@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Notes 8, 22, and 26 apply.
