- Description
- The Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for ISU Containers (Shipping and storage containers). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-03-Q-3357 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14 (b) and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-33. This acquisition is unrestricted and is under the North American Industry Classification System code 332439, with a small business size standard of 500. Item 0001 ? 15 each Shipping storage container (ISU container 60.5 Gen x Green 2 doors) NSN 8145-01-316-3292, P/N 56112000; Item 0002 - 30 each Panel assembly divider, NSN 8145-01-382-1935, P/N 50002158; Item 0003 - 78 each Shelf assembly 50.06 x 38.94, NSN 8145-01-384-9278, P/N 50002127; Item 0004 - 12 each Cabinet 8 drawer ISU60AG Stanley Vidmar ISU90ST425807Z, AAR Part number 86019013; Item 0005 - 12 each Container, Special (Kit Stanley Vidmar Install Field Installed) NSN 8145-01-486-2462, P/N 60205002; Item 0006 ? 40 each Bracket shelf heavy duty mounting, NSN 5340-01-309-8696, P/N 86015503. Items 0001, 0002, 0003 and 0006 are manufactured by AAR Mobility Systems, cage code 80298. Items 0004 and 0005 are manufactured by Stanley Vidmar. Containers will be shipped to MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC 28545. Quote FOB Destination. Evaluation factors: The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror based on price alone. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (Oct 2000). FAR 52.212-3 Alternate I, Offer Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (APR 2002), a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (FEB 2002). FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (APR 2003), to include clauses (5) (7) (10) (11) (12) (13) (14) (15) (16) (21) (24) and (26). DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (MAR 2003), applies with the following clauses applicable for paragraph (b); DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program; and DFARS 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities; DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests (MAR 2003). All quotes not sent through the US mail will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand carried quotes (excluding Email and faxes) must be delivered directly to Cunningham Street, building 159, first floor, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC, Contracting Department. Direct delivery of quote is only possible during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. As of 31 May 1999, all Contractors must be registered in the Central Registration (CCR) Database as a condition of contract award.
