Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. DAHA22-03-T-0061 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circula r 01-15. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. CLIN 0001: 1 ea Tail Rotor Pylon Fixture Refurbishment tool required to refurbish plyon assemblies on UH- 60 aircraft. Functionality and performance have to be equal to or greater than ADC Engineering PN ACD-200-01-RT-01. This fixture is required for use in repairing tail rotor pylons on Blackhawks. This fixture must be certified by Sikorsky. If offering oth er than ADC, you will be required to fax your specifications with your offer, along with proof or certification by Sikorsky. Failure to send your specs and certification will render your offer non-responsive. Specifications are as follows: Tail Rotor Pyl on Fixture part number ADC-200-01-RT-01 function hereafter referred to as tool is similar to the Assembly Fixture 70200-06150-041T163.1.04. This tool is used for the refurbishment of existing pylon assemblies and will be used for the replacement of three Master fitting hard points locations listed below: 1)Fitting Assembly Tail Rotor Pylon Gear Box Mounting Bracket 70209-06056-041; 2) Fitting Assembly Aft Spar, Stab Attach Tail Rotor Pylon (2) Places 70209-06052-046; 3)Fitting Assembly Canted Hinge Frame Tail Rotor Pylon 70209-06051-043 and also support the replacement of the Tail Rotor Pylon Skins. Tool Mastering Requirement: Tool requested must use Master 70200-6150-041T015. The tooling locator for the Canter Hinge Frame must locate eight threaded inserts and four .594 0 index hole pattern common to the Canted Hinge Frame, as well as picking up the bushed hinge locations. The base is to be made from structural steel square tub ing and hot rolled steel plate. The base is to be designed to be robust and must maintain a level condition under normal usage conditions. The base must be equipped with forklift tubes for lifting and moving the tool, and equipped with removable caster ou triggers for moving the tool within the MS-AVCRAD environment by hand. The tooling details for the Tailcone interface and the Stabilator must be mounted on the linear rails for ease of loading and unloading. Additionally, the Tail Rotor Rotor Locator Asse mbly must be movable for ease in loading and unloading. The tooling details must be located using the Sikorsky tooling master. The Tailcone canted bulkhead tooling detail must have hinge line locators. Linear bearings are required to control the alignment and adjustability of the Horizontal Stabilizer bushing clevis locations and the Canted Frame. All weldments are to be stress r elieved. The tool must have storage boxes for removable tooling components. Tool Size: Approximately 18 ft L x 2-one half ft W x 6 one-half ft H --- Weight 3,200 lbs.Deliverable Items: Tool Drawing, Pylon Refurbishment Tool, Tool Using Instruction Document, and Tool Calibration Procedures Manual. Fabrication of this fixture wil l utilize the AMCOM master tool 70200-06150-041T015 located at Sikorsky Aircraft Corp in West Haven, CT. Delivery of the pylon fixture will be 16 weeks after receipt of the referenced master tool. You must quote delivered price to Gulfport, MS 39505-3349 .
