Description

PROJECT TITLE: Remove Silt from Trinklein Drainage Ditches at Shiawasee National Wildlife Refuge, 6975 Mower Road, Saginaw, MI 48601. SUMMARY: Project consists of Dragline Equipment Rental with Operator- Contractor shall furnish materials, labor and equipment for dragline operations to remove approximately 4 feet deep of accumulated sediment from the Trinklein Drainage Ditch including mobilization and demobilization. The ditch is approximately 6,300 feet long and approximately 24 feet wide. Equipment needed includes 1 crawler mounted dragline with operator, minimum 213 horse power, medium duty with a minimum 3 yard bucket. 350 hours of equipment rental are required. Measurement for payment for dragline rental with operator shall be made by the hour of operation. Daily equipment logs will be completed for each day of operation. SITE: All interested persons are encouraged to visit the site of the proposed work. Site access can be arranged by contacting the Refuge Manager. The Refuge Manager may be contacted at the above referenced address or by telephone at (989) 777-5930. On-site work may be performed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, Federal Holidays or other than normal working hours shall be approved in advance by the Government. AWARD EVALUATION FACTORS: Quoters are to provide a per hour price for equipment rental with operator in accordance with the Request for Quotation number 301813Q107. Award will be made to the responsible firm whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Other factors for this solicitation include Contractor qualifications, past performance, and experience in providing services as described above for this project. Past performance evaluations of all contractors may be based on the Government's knowledge of and previous experience with the quoter, and any proposed suppliers or subcontractors, or other reasonable basis. The solicitation, including one reference drawing, will be provided upon request via fax to (612) 713-5151 or e-mail to fw3cgsoffice@fws.gov. PRICE QUOTE SUBMISSION: Quotation shall include a per hour price for the contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide a 1 crawler mounted dragline with operator, minimum 213 horse power, medium duty with a minimum 3 yard bucket in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications herein.
