Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source modification to contract N00019-02-C-3059 with Harris Corporation Government Communications Systems Division, P.O. Box 37, Melbourne, FL 32902-0037, for the purchase of Lot 4 full-rate production (FRP). The Lot 4 FRP purchase will include approximately 140 DMC units (with an option for the purchase of up to 19 additional DMCs), 65 Digital Video Map Computers (DVMCs), 182 extension housings, engineering support services, repair of repairables, and vector product development for the DMC and its variants. Harris Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the TAMMAC DMC, and is, therefore, the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment and experience to fulfill this requirement.
