Description
Amendment 2 Based on the number of questions received, the FAA has decided to review th= e statement of work and drawing. It is estimated that the final Screening = Information Request will be released within the next 30 days. Potential Of= ferors obtaining this information from other sources other than the FAA Con= tracting Opportunities web page are encouraged to subscribe to the E-Mail A= uto Notify System for FAA Headquarters (ASU) announcements. =20 Amendment 1:=20 This announcement is a request for comments/questions on the draft SIR. Se= ctions K, L and M have not yet been developed. Comments/questions are requ= ested on draft sections posted. DO NOT SUBMIT PROPOSALS AT THIS TIME. Dra= ft sections can be downloaded at: http://www.asu.faa.gov/faaco/. Original announcement. The FAA has a requirement to procure 25" electronic equipment cabinets. Th= e procurement is set-aside for small business. The FAA proposes to award a= one year firm fixed priced indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contrac= t with four one year options to extend the period of performance. The maxi= mum quantity that could be ordered is 300 per year. The electronic equipment cabinet (including hardware) shall be comprised of= all metal components, have square corners, have a flush mounted louvered r= ear door with a recessed latch and be hinged (with removable hinge pins so = that the door can be removed) on the left side (from the rear of the cabine= t, see Figure 3). The cabinet shall have an open front with mounting angle= s that will accommodate standard 19" rack panels, be enclosed on both sides= , be enclosed at the top, and have either gusset plates or a solid bottom p= late (See Figure 1) for mounting the cabinet to the floor with bolts/lag sc= rews. The outside dimensions of this cabinet shall be 22.5=C2=B10.75" wide = x 83.0=C2=B11.0" high x 25.75=C2=B10.75" in depth. =20 Attached are draft Screening Information Request sections B through I. Que= stions/comments, if any, are requested, via email to the contracting office= r, by 3:00 p.m. Eastern, August 6, 2003. The contracting officer will not= respond to telephonic requests for information.
