This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 27, 2003. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PROJECT TITLE: Campground service/turf maintenance vehicle (similar to Mitsubishi mini, Cushman truckster, or DaimlerChrysler GEM)(electric or alternative fuel required). Solicitation No.: Q5530030068. FEATURES include: 1. Green energy (electric, hybrid, alternative fuels; 2. Four wheels; 3. Two passenger; 4. short utility or stake bed; 5. enclosed cab; 6. Meets all highway safety features(turn signals, flashers, horn, seatbelts, etc.); 7. Minimum operation of 6 hours before recharge or refill; 8. Heater/defroster; 9. Rotating beacon or strobe light; 10. Gel or AGM battery; 11. If electric, rapid recharge time. LITERATURE MAY BE SUBMITTED TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER AT THE ADDRESS BELOW. THE SIC/NAICS Code for this procurement is 3711/336112. This procurement is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items or Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions.
