Description
The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) is seeking to make a single award to a contractor to furnish and install grinding, augering, screening, washing and bagging equipment. The equipment is to be installed by the vendor at the Nogales International Wastewater Treatment Plant, 865 Rio Rico Industrial Park, Rio Rico, Arizona 85648. Equipment shall consist of powered rotating screen drums, powered two shaft grinder with single auger lifting assembly that screens and grinds solids, lifts and dewaters them, and disposes of the solids into a solids compaction and washing unit. Compaction and washing shall separate soft organics from ground solids. Solids shall be washed multiple times. Solids shall be dewatered and compacted into a cake form, and using a screw conveyor, be discharged into a bagging system which is attached to the compaction/washing unit. Ultimate disposal shall be into a five (5) cubic yard trash bin provided by USIBWC. System shall be fully automatic with de-jamming sequences and trouble alarming capabilities with all controls, equipment, panels and electrical equipment supplied and installed by contractor. Equipment shall consist of the following AMD Series Auger Monster Model No. AMD6016, Screenings Washer Monster (compaction Version) without Grinder Model No. SWM0018, Discharge Bagging System as manufactured by JWC Environmental or approved equal. Estimated issuance date of RFQ IBM03Q0037 is August 21, 2003 and responses are to be received by 4:00 PM local time on September 11, 2003. Requests must include business name, point of contact, address, telephone number (include area code), and RFQ number. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333319. The applicable small business size standard is 500 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 4630.
