- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY - The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis (based on an unsolicited proposal) with the Medical College of Ohio, School of Allied Health, 3000 Arlington Avenue, Toledo, OH 43614. The purpose of this procurement is to design and implement preservice training and certification of organ procurement coordinators. Because the training is based on an unsolicited proposal (which the Government has determined to be a unique and innovative approach which was independently originated and developed by the offeror, prepared without Government supervision, benefits the Agency's mission, and was not an advance proposal for a known agency requirement), The Medical College of Ohio is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and service. The offeror has developed and owns the curriculum that, if created by any other contractor, would be a substantial duplication of cost to the Government. The Medical College of Ohio shall perform some of the services as an in-kind contribution to the Government. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. The period of performance for this project is one year. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. 03-OSP-116544-AB
