- Description
- Sole Source. The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno NV inten= ds to negotiate a contract with Diversified Systems International, 5401 Longley Lane, Suite 37, Reno, NV 89511, on an other than full and open competition basis. The requirement is to upgrade the current Edwards fire alarm system installed throughout the Medical Center. This is a continuing effort to upgrade the outdated system and will allow the ability to interface with current equipment and systems within the Medical Center. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government=92s requirement no later than 1:00 PM PDT on 25 August 2003. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22, with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
