Description
DESCRIPTION THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION POSTED 12 AUGUST 2003. SOLICITATION NUMBER IS F44650-03-T-0023. NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED TO THE POSTED COMBINED SYNPOSIS/SOLICITATION BUT WE ARE ADDING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO THE SPECIFICATIONS: THE TRAILER NEEDS TO BE EQUIPPED WITH BOTH AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING WHICH IS CRUCIAL FOR DIVERSE INSTALLATION WEATHER CONDITIONS. UNIT OPERATES SEPARATELY FROM THE TOWING VEHICLE UTILIZING A 4,500-WATT GENERATOR AND SIX-GALLON FUEL TANK FOR 18 HOURS OF CONTINUOUS USE. NEEDS TO BE FULLY CONTAINED AND HAVE A AUTOMATIC WATERING SYSTEM TO ENSURE THE MILITARY WORKING DOGS ARE WATERED ON A CONTINOUS BASIS. The contractor shall state the warranty coverage provided for all line items.***Delivery shall be FOB destination to 15 Air Force installations. The complete ship to address, point of contact, and telephone number will be in the award document. The contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipments in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the contract, be responsible for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery points specified in the purchase order; and pay all charges to the specified point of delivery.***The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government and other factors considered in accordance with FAR 52.212-2. If not submitting under GSA schedule the following apply. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Best Value to the Government, (1) Meet specifications listed, (2) Price, and (3) Delivery.
