- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL plans to award a Firm-Fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a Contemplated Requirement. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333111, with a Small Business Size Standard of 500. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The reference number is FQ3CEO32030400, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is Full and Open Competition requirement. This requirement is for a Brand Name, Bush Hog Rotary Cutter, for 3 each-15 foot Rotary Cutter, Make: Bush Hog, Model 3715 HD, Specifications: Cutting width 15 foot, Height: Range Adjustable from 2 inch to 14 inch with a capacity to cut brush and trees up to 3-1/2 inch, transport width 96 inch or less, Blades ? inch by 4 inch, uplift with 6 inch overlap, and equipped with a stump jumper, PTO required 540, tires foam filled aircraft type, shielding double row chain-safety shielding, hitch type self leveling pull type with perma-level hitch, deck thickness: 7 gauge or heavier, slip clutches: four friction plates, wing lift hydraulic, wing flex: 87 degrees up to 22 degrees down. The Rotary Cutters are to be delivered FOB Destination at Eglin AFB, Florida, 6-7 weeks after award of contract. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
