- Pre-Solicitation Notice F33601-03-T-0223 Dormitory Furnishings The Operational Contracting Branch (88ABW/PKSA) of the Aeronautical Systems Center will issue a solicitation on approximately 21 August 2003 for the commercial acquisition of dormitory furnishings for building 1212 at Wright- Patterson AFB (WPAFB) OH. Specific requirements will be to supply and install new furnishings, as well as remove and dispose of old furnishings and clean-up. Contractor will provide trucks to transport used mattresses to Defense Reutilization/Marketing Office (DRMO) at WPAFB. If DRMO does not want the mattresses, the Government will provide dumpsters for their disposal. The proposed procurement is a 100% Hub Zone Set-Aside, NAICS Code 337122, size standard 500 employees. Prospective contractors will be expected to provide the Government sample boards including the following information: furniture styles, color of wood finishes, fabric swatches, color swatches. The solicitation/RFP will be issued electronically and posted on the ASC Pre- Award Information Exchange System (PIXS) web site at http://pixs.wpafb.af.mil NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Once the solicitation/RFP has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for updates to the documents.
