- OGDEN AIR LOGISTICS CENTER (OO-ALC) will conduct an industry day related to a potential competitive remanufacture/overhaul Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the USAF 85 Series GTE?s (gas turbine engines). This Industry Day will be held, September 15th and 16th 2003, at HILL AFB, UT in the Contracting Directorate main conference room located at 6038 Aspen Ave, Bldg 1289 ? Upstairs, Hill AFB, UT. This is an invitation to participate in this industry day and does not constitute either an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. The information to be presented at Industry Day will be preliminary and may change based on information gathered by the Government from industry through interactions at this Industry Day. The Government?s intent of the industry day is for the Government to state the overall procurement plan and processes to industry. An Industry Day kick off meeting will be held at 0900 AM and with an opportunity for ?one-on-one? meetings with the USAF 85 Series Team to be scheduled in afternoon of Sep 15th and all day Sep 16th as required. These meetings will be held in the same conference room and limited to a 20 minute discussion. Interested parties must return the attached registration form to the Contracting Officer, no later than, 5 Sep 2003 with their intent to attend our industry day. If your organization is interested in scheduling a ?one on one? meeting with the USAF 85 Series Team, please indicate your interest on the Registration Form (note a limit of 5 individuals per firm). You will be notified at a later date of the scheduled time of your meeting. The "one-on-one" is available to allow you to seek clarification or ask questions about the program and potential acquisition process. The "one-on-one" is not an opportunity for marketing or explanation of your parties? unique capabilities. An IDIQ Contract is anticipated for all items listed on the attached NSN List and will be awarded on an ?All or None? basis. The Best Estimate Quantities (BEQs) shown on the NSN list are preliminary numbers only. All sources must be qualified by the USAF 85 Series GTE engineer prior to being considered as a Qualified Source of remanufacture/overhaul for the USAF 85 Series GTE. The Qualification Requirements package can be obtained from the Contracting Officer - Shauna Giles, at shauna.giles@hill.af.mil. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted. Admission to the base for this function will be through the Hill West Gate Entrance only (I-15 - Exit 338). To obtain base access you must pre-register for this conference so that your name can be provided to Base Security. All attendees must pre-register in order to be allowed on base. Due to heightened security please allow time to process onto the base. A visitor pass will be required and can be obtained through Pass & ID located just outside the West Gate. Entry procedures will include verification of identity via valid Drivers License or other Picture ID. All drivers will also be required to provide proof of insurance, registration and/or rental car agreement and current driver?s license. See the Registration Form to pre- register for Industry Day.
