Presolicitation Notice Date Submitted: 14-AUG-2003 OC-ALC/LGKIB DIR CONTRACTING/COMMODITIES 3001 STAFF DR STE 1AC199A TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OK 73145-3028 59--REPAIR OF THE A6 CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY; SOL F34601-03-R-43720, for additional information contact Joe G. Clay (405) 739-4212. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair and/or modification, test, packing and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated for One Year, plus TWO (2) One-year options for CLIN's 0001, 0002, and 0003. The items and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 5998-01-311-1177LN, P/N: 167629-03-03, Noun: A6 Circuit Card Assembly, Application: F-16 Aircraft. Estimated Quantities: Basic year - 39 each, Option I - 8 each, Option II - 7 each. CLIN 0002: Over and Above Work, as required. CLIN 0003: Data reporting, as required. This solicitation is to obtain requirements type repair contract with 100% contractor furnished material. The approximate issue/response date will be 19 Sep 2003 and will be effective until Sep 2006. Deliveries are to be 5 ea 30 days after receipt of order and repairables and 5 ea per month thereafter. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. COMMAND NOTE C = SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. COMMAND NOTE E = NON-AVAILIBILITY OF GOVERNMENT DATA Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. LOCAL NOTE C = OMBUDSMAN Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
