Description: NA M60 Machine Gun Barrel Assembly with Bipod Assembly. Barrel is manufactured from Cromiun-Molybdenum-Vanadium or Chrome-Moly-Vanadium. Barrel is made of three parts. Retainer is shrink fitted to Cobalt-Chromium Alloy liner and Barrel and liner has an inte rference fit to barrel diameter. Barrel has to be test fired. Each Barrel must withstand the firing of one standard 7.62mm M60 high pressure test cartridge. Magnetic particle inspection is required. Assembly also requires manufacture of investment casting s. Barrel and liner rifling groves have one(1) right hand turn in 12 inches. Contractors are required to meet 150 delivery without first article and 240 days with first article.
