- DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, equipment and tools, except for specified Government-furnished property, required to effectively, efficiently, and satisfactorily perform the janitorial services specified within this Performance Based Service Contract. The work shall comply with codes and standards applicable to each type of work and as listed in the individual sections of these specifications. Refer to the actual statement of work for Rock Springs Field Office Janitorial. The work covered under these specifications consists of performing all operations in connection with the accomplishment of janitorial services in and around the building (17,624 Sq Ft) and outside areas specified. The supplies and materials will be supplied by the Janitorial Service. Supplies to be furnished are trash bags, paper towels, white toilet paper, sanitary napkins, tampax, disposable toilet seat covers and hand soap. Any damage resulting from faulty operations, inexperience, or negligence will be the contractor's responsibility. WORK SCHEDULE: Interference with Government Personnel or Government Business shall be avoided. WORK WEEK AND WORK SHIFT: The various phases of cleaning and janitorial work shall, at a minimum, be carried out to meet the standards set forth in Section 23 - Custodial Services Requirements. The washing of windows may be carried out at any hour, but interference with Government business shall be avoided. Other services are to be performed after 5 P.M.. and before 6 a.m. Work hours for the main office building and warehouse are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Work hours for the Fire Building are normally from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; however, if there is fire activity, these facilities are open 24 hours a day. When this occurs, the contractor shall talk with the supervisor on duty to negotiate the cleaning effort for that day. There are daily, weekly, and monthly requirements, refer to the actual bid schedule. Please review the Statement of Work in its entirety. Services are to be performed at 280 Highway 191 North, Wyoming. LOCATION OF WORK: BLM, : Rock Springs Field Office complex at 280 Hwy 191 North, Rock Springs, Wyoming including the main office building consisting of approximately 33,500 square feet, the warehouse restroom consisting of approximately 200 square feet, fire building which includes sleeping bays, kitchen area and small office area of approximately 4,400 square feet. Project includes basic contract period plus additional option periods. The total project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a 100% small business set-aside. A performance period of 365 days a year is required. Starting 1 October 2003 - through September 30 2004, plus options if exercised.
