Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a sole source firm fixed price modification under contract N00019-00-C-0444 to ITT Night Vision. The Government will procure approximately eighty-nine (89) Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) Helmet Mounts for the Royal Australian Air Force under Foreign Military Sales. The approximate value of this procurement is $95K. The JHMCS Helmet Mounts are provided in accordance with Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 0444-005 to allow the use of AN/AVS-9 Night Vision Goggles with the JHMCS Helmet. ITT Night Vision is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AN/AVS-9 Night Vision Goggle and its associated mounting hardware and the only known source with the technical expertise and data to meet this need.
