- Description
- The Navy is retracting its Potential Sources Sought Notice (CBD Synopsis, printed Mar 21,2001 with an original response date of Apr 20,2001). The Potential Sources Sought Notice was seeking qualified manufacturing sources willing to provide a new, rubber-tired self-propelled modular transporter combination suitable for transport of large ship sections. The potential need for this equipment had been deferred. Please disregard instructions included in the previous synopsis to provide catalogs, General Arrangement drawings, and similar information describing the capability to manufacture and test a transporter of the type described in the synopsis. Any information received from potential sources sought prior to this retraction has been kept on file at the Navy Crane Center and will not be returned to the sources that submitted the information. The Navy Crane Center shall dispose of any information received at its discretion. Should the Navy decide to pursue this effort at a later date, a synopsis may be published and updated instructions will be provided.
