- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award multiple indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts for program management support services. These services include support in the areas of requirements, financial management, acquisition management, program management and contract management. The Government intends to award between two and four prime contracts under this solicitation on the basis of unrestricted, best-value competition. The prospective contracts will have a base contract period of two years with four ? six month award terms, making the maximum available performance period four years. The total estimated value of all awards over the four years is $320M. Both CPFF and FFP line items will be incorporated into the contracts. Performance-based methodology will be used to the maximum extent practicable at the task order level. Attached at the SPAWAR e-commerce link below is a preliminary draft solicitation. Prospective offerors are encouraged to subscribe to this solicitation at the SPAWAR link below. Notification of the release of important solicitation documents will be made automatically to subscribers. A list of everyone who subscribes to this solicitation will be available on the SPAWAR e-commerce site also. An Industry Day will be held for this solicitation on Tuesday, September 16, 2003, from 1 ? 3 pm at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego Theater. A briefing on the draft solicitation will be provided to prospective offerors on Industry Day. Government personnel will be available to answer questions also. Neither reservations nor visit requests are required to attend this event. Any valid picture identification will allow access to the base. Comments on the draft solicitation are welcome both before and after Industry Day. Shortly after Industry Day a final solicitation will be issued. Comments may be addressed in writing to Mark Schweer at mark.schweer@navy.mil. Contract award is expected in 4th Qtr. GFY 04.
