- NAICS Code: 541330 The Urban Watershed Management Branch (UWMB)of the Water Supply and Water Resources Division, US EPA National Risk Management Research Laboratory, requires modeling and engineering services to develop the most efficient system design, operating procedures, and cost information for field demonstration of an automatic vacuum flushing system using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) software in cooperation with a publically owned treatment works or stormwater management/utility agency. Proposals are sought from experienced, responsible businesses who can: 1) prepare project reports related to sewer/storage tank sediment control and sewer-sediment transport; 2) demonstrate experience related to fluid dynamics modeling entailing a water pollution control application in the last three (3) years; and 3) demonstrate that they can provide facilities and equipment sufficient to perform the requirements of the Statement of Work. The proposed purchase order shall have a performance period of eighteen months from date of award. This RFQ is being processed under FAR Part 13, as applicable to simplified acquisitions of non-commercial items. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 29, 2003, subject to full and open competition. A fixed-price purchase order will be issued the quoter whose quotation presents the best value to the Government, technical and cost considered, subject to all applicable clauses. ALL TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE, RESPONSIBLE QUOTATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. To receive a copy of the RFQ, please direct your request via e-mail to Mr. Charles D.
