- Description
- The Department of State intends to extend their current contract with Northrop Grumman (Formerly TRW Space & Defense), NGMS Global Information Technology Division, 12011 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, Virginia 20190. The current contract (S-OPRAQ-97-C-0008) is due to expire on May 31, 2003. An extension is required for the period beginning June 1, 2003 through June 30, 2003. Additional time is necessary for the Department of State to complete negotiations for the award of the new competitive contract (S-LMAQM-03-R-0038) in support of these services and to ensure that there is no break in performance. NGMS provides system integration, system operations, system support and maintenance, including 24-hour round the clock systems operations for the Department of State. These services are performed in an secure environment and all personnel working under this contract must possess a top secret clearance with SCI. There is no solicitation available for this requirement. This notice represents the only official notice of the Government's intent. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-MAY-2003). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 14-AUG-2003.
