- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request For Quotes (RFQ). The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Region 9, Hawaii Area Office, intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed-price commercial contract to Zope Corporation, 513 Prince Edward Street, Lafayette Technology Center, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. Companies who can provide the above listed proprietary software must indicate their interest in writing no later than August 20, 2003. Estimated date of award is August 21, 2003. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source contract. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-5 and DAC 91-13. The resultant contract will be 100% set aside for small business. NAICS Code 541519, Software installation services, computer. Size Standard $21,000,000. Provide a price for each of the following items: CLIN 0001: Zope Replication Services v 1.3.0 or latest, CLIN 0002: Replication Services Maintenance, CLIN 0003: Zope Silver Support, CLIN 0004: Zope On-Site Integration, CLIN 0005: Zope Software Maintenance Subscription, CLIN 0006: Zope4Intranets On-site Training. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this sole source acquisition. Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 and 252.247-7022. The following additional FAR clauses apply: 52.203-6, 52.203-6 Alt I, 52.219-8, 52.219-9, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-26, and 52.232-33. The following additional DFARS clauses apply: 252.212-7001, 252.204-7004, 252.205-7000, 252.219-7003, 252.219-7005, 252.225-7012, 252.225-7014, 252.227-7015, 252.227-7037, 252.243-7002, and 252.247-7024.
