Description

We have a requirement for ten (10) monocular night vision devices, equal to the Generation 3 ITT Series F6015 (AN/PVS-14). It must be high resolution, high gain, and very high photo- response in visible and near infrared. It must be multi- functional, to be hand-held as a monocular or weapon-mounted as a night scope. It must have variable gain control for enhanced performance in altering light conditions and it must be light- weight. Specifications include: On-axis resolution at optimum light level - 1.3 cycles/milliradian; System magnification - 1 x +/- 0.03; System distortion - less than 3%; Range focus 25 cm to infinity; Diopter focus +2 to -6 diopters; Exit pupil and eye relief - 14 mm on axis exit pupil at 25 mm eye relief; Field of view - 40 +/- 2 degrees; System brightness gain - adjustable from 25 to more than 3000; Operation temperature - -51 degrees C to + 49 degrees C; Storage temperature - - 51 degrees C to + 85 degrees C.
