- There will be three items under Solicitation SP0100-03-R-0197 for Embroidered Insignias. Item number 1- NSN: 8455-00-641-8637 YPT03212000009 Stripes, Service Army Men Golden Light Shade on Army Twill Overedge Stitching Required. Stitch Count 900 ea size 1 (men) large made in accordance with MIL-DTL-14651 dated 22 October 2001. In accordance with Drawing B-11-7 dated May 13, 1998 and Cartoon B-11-7 dated June 1, 1998. Total Quantity 50,428 strips (SP) with one (100%) total quantity option. Eight Deliveries beginning 90 days after date of award to Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA. First Article Test Requirements 5 strips due on or before 40 days after date of award. Item number 2- NSN: 8455-00-115-5065 YPT03211000011 Insignia, Embroidered Shoulder sleeve, subdued Overedge Stitching Required 4th Infantry Division, Stitch Count 3570 each made in accordance with MIL-DTL-14652B dated December 18, 2001. In accordance with Drawing A-1-79 dated August 29, 1974 and Cartoon A-1-79 dated May 13, 1976. Total Quantity 160,000 each with one (100%) total quantity option. Nine Deliveries beginning 150 days after date of award to Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA. First Article Test Requirements 5 each due on or before 60 days after date of award. Item number 3- NSN: 8455-01-389-3511 YPT03217000003 Insignia Embroidered Grade Enlisted Personnel, Air force Large Size Desert Chevrons Man?s 4 inch Senior Airman E-4. Overedge stitching required. Made in accordance with MIL-DTL-14651A dated October 22, 2001. In accordance with Drawing B-3-48A and B-3-42B dated April 22, 1998 and Cartoon B-3-48A-2 dated March 7, 1994. Total Quantity 90,134 pairs with one (100%) total quantity option. Twelve Deliveries beginning 150 days after date of award to Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA. First Article Test Requirements 5 pairs due on or before 60 days after date of award. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued as a Total Small Business Set Aside. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successfulofferor. Solicitation will include end item Specification. Evaluation Factor is low price. Berry Amendment Applies. Solicitation will be available on the Procurement Gateway on or around September 4, 2003. Contractor must be CCR Registered and have a government Cage Code. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment impose restrictions on the DoDs acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
