- This Request For Information is not a formal Request For Proposal and the Government will not pay for any information received under, or associated with, this RFI. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia is issuing this Request For Information in an effort to determine the availability of Barbed Tape, Concertina, NSN 5660-00-921-5516, in accordance with CID A-A-55522, from potential manufacturing sources located in the United States, NAFTA countries, Caribbean Basin countries, Designated or Qualifying countries (as defined by DFARS 252.225-7021Trade Agreements). We request that you respond to the attached questions as soon as possible; responses are due no later than 29 August 2003. Your response is confidential and will not bind you in any way. Respondents are requested to provide the following information: 1. Production capacity. How many rolls per week can be provided? Please specify time before first delivery can be made and subsequent delivery schedule thereafter. 2. Where material is to be manufactured. 3. How long would it take for you to develop a firm proposal to deliver large quantities of subject item? 4. Please provide business size of any potential source of supply.
