- The Department of Health and Human Services, Federal Occupational Health ( FOH), through the Division of Acquisitions Management, Program Support Center (PSC), has a requirement for laundry service with towel and scrubs rental included for a FOH Fitness Center in the Washington, DC area that uses approximately 600 towels and 75 scrub tops and bottoms per week. The Government anticipates making a firm fixed price award utilizing FAR Part 12 Commercial Iitems and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and will incorporate Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The base period of performance will be from October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004 with four (12) month Option Periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812332. The size standard is $12.0 Million. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(1) the solicitation will be made available electronically on or about 15 days from the date of this publication. The internet address for downloading the solicitation is http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any notification of changes to the solicitation (amendments) will be posted on the internet. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up to date information regarding this acquisition. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is August 29, 2003. See Numbered Note 1.
