Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition. Patrick AFB wishes to purchase 1000 each of fully assembled checkball caps (Part Number 102309) for Type 1 Cartridge and 30 each of fully assembled 14-cartridge carousel (Part Number 102888) for the Automated Mobile Sampler. The government intends to make a single award to Reliable System Services Corporation since they are the incumbent contractor who initially developed the special methods to machine finish critical surfaces on the caps. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. F08650-03-T-0263 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3812, business size of 750 employees, and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334511. IMPORTANT: The Department of Defense (DOD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DOD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. You may register in CCR on-line at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It is mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering in CCR by calling Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505). All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency by NLT 25 Aug 03 at 1400 hrs. The solicitation will not be issued electronically, but this office will provide a copy to any firm requesting one. Requests for solicitation will not be accepted after 25 Aug 03 at 1400 Eastern Time. Anticipated award date will be on or around 26 Aug 03.
