- Description
- GSA MULTIPLE SCHEDULE (MAS) SOLICITATION. The General Products Acquisition Center, Fort Worth, Texas, is issuing a refreshed solicitation effective 8/15/03 electronically only. Interested parties may access the solicitation at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation files. Search using Solicitation Number 7FCM-C4-03-0073-B (include the dashes). The solicitation is entitled Schedule 073, Food Service, Hospitality, Cleaning Equipment and Supplies, Chemicals, and Services. The products/services addressed in this solicitation are: FSC Group 68, Chemicals and Chemical Products (Attachment 1); FSC Group 72, Recycling Collection Containers and Waste Receptacles (Attachment 2); FSC Group 73, Food Service Equipment, Supplies, and Services (Attachment 3); FSC Group 79, Cleaning Equipment, Accessories, Janitorial Supplies, Cleaning Chemicals, and Sorbents (Attachment 4); and FSC Group 85, Toiletries, Personal Care Items, Linens, and Lodging and Hospitality Supplies and Services, and Hospitality Wear (Attachment 5). The basic solicitation includes clauses, which are applicable to the solicitation/resultant contract. The basic solicitation has 12 attachments. Attachments 1-5 are product/services attachments as described above; Attachment 6 addresses small business subcontracting plans; Attachment 7 addresses Commercial Services Subject to the Service Contract Act; Attachment 8 includes full text of clauses incorporated by reference; Attachment 9 contains information to be used after contract award to add additional items and to request EPAs; Attachment 10 consist of information to be used after contract award to add overseas delivery if it was not initially awarded; Attachment 11 is used to exercise an option to extend the term of the contract, and Attachment 12 pertains to terms and conditions for Leasing and Rentals. Offerors must complete and return the basic solicitation and all attachments applicable to the product/services, which they intend to offer. Attachment 8 should not be returned. Please read the attachment entitled, Read Me, for information and instructions in completing the solicitation and attachment(s). This is a standing solicitation with no closing date for receipt of offers. This solicitation will remain in effect until it is replaced by another refreshed solicitation. The Federal Supply Schedule period is continuous and will contain contracts with periods that commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five years (exclusive of any options) from the DOA unless further extended pursuant to any option to extend the term of the contract, or cancelled sooner. This solicitation contains an option clause, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Evergreen), which allows the Government to extend the contract three additional five-year periods, not to exceed a total of twenty years. All contracts will be indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts with a $2500 guaranteed minimum for the contract period. All contracts to be awarded include Industrial Funding Fee provisions. The Trade Agreements clause applies to this solicitation. Small Business Set-Aside provisions are addressed in the individual product/services attachments to the solicitation.
