Description
The Agency Of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration(SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services(CMHS), Community Support Programs Branchj (CSPB), Division of Service and Systems Development, through the Division of Acquisition Management(DAM), Program Support Center(PSC), plans to award a 12 month sole source contract using simplified acquisition procedures to the Policy Research Associates (PRA), 345 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, New York 12054. The anticipated date of award is September 04, 2003. The purpose of this contract is to find a contractor to undertake this project as described. PRA has held responsibility for database for the past five years, working in tandem with the nine sites that participated in the WCDVS outcomes study. PRA is specialized in various types of evaluation for multi site programs. They have established an outstanding track record in the WCDVS study. The nine organizations in the WCDVS have each implemented various trauma informed programs for women that respond to the specific needs of each organization's client population. In addition, they have worked to develop the various types of data needed for the outcome evaluation. The following are the key objectives for this contract: 1. Finalize outcome data analysis 2. Finalize key outcome data publications 3. Prepare and distribute final data sets and syntax to study sites 4. Prepare and distribute public use datasets The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Under authority of Far 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest by responding to the requirement within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation is available.
