Description

The project is for constructing a single-course surface treatment (chipseal) for approximately 0.9 kilometers (0.6 mile) over an existing asphalt pavement on Road 9718. Project quantities include forty-seven (47) metric tons aggregate and six (6) metric tons CRS-2 Polymer-modified emulsified asphalt. All materials are Contractor-furnished. Road 9718 is single-lane with turnouts; the road will be closed during chipseal application. The project is located on Chiloquin District, Fremont-Winema National Forests, Klamath County, Oregon. From Klamath Falls, proceed north on US Highway 97 approximately ten miles to Hagelstein Park and Road 9718. The project begins at the junction of Road 9718 and US Highway 97, and ends at the end of the pavement segment at kilometer 0.9. The Government's estimate is less than $25,000. This is an emergining small business set-aside.
