- Description
- The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This solicitation applies to PR# F1364732190200, which is the procurement of a Babington Technology (SPEK) Expeditionary Field Kitchen with tray ration heater, field sanitation unit, maintenance kit w/ burner, lighting, liquid dispensers, fully stocked with tools, an array of kitchen utensils, and serving pans. This unit is to be self-contained and independent of any outside source of electricity or ventilation. Additionally, unit is to be portable and palletizable on standard military cargo pallets. The following clause applies to this solicitation; FAR 52.232-33 ?Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central Contractor Registration. Response to this solicitation must be received via email, fax, mail, or delivery by 29 August 2003 no later than 4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
